PC (polycarbonate): PC materials are widely used in the lenses and exterior mirrors of headlights and fog lights of headlights due to their excellent impact and transparency, as well as good mechanical properties and electrical insulation properties. PC materials have a wide range of operating temperatures, high dimensional stability, and high creep resistance. They are particularly suitable for the internal structure of headlights, because the temperature difference between different parts of the headlights may cause the temperature of some reflectors and decorative rings to reach 100~190℃.
PP (modified polypropylene): Modified PP materials account for about 30% of the plastic materials of headlights, and are mainly used for parts such as the housing of headlights and the rear cover of taillights. PP materials not only have good electrical insulation and chemical corrosion resistance, but also have excellent fatigue resistance, high mechanical properties and heat resistance, and have price advantages compared to other plastics.
PBT (Polyethylene Terephthalate): PBT material is often used in headlamp bezels and brackets in adjustment devices due to its excellent mechanical properties, thermal stability and chemical stability. After PBT is reinforced with glass fiber, it can be used to make fog lamp housings, which have high rigidity and hardness, good impact resistance, high dimensional stability and good heat resistance.

PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate, commonly known as acrylic or plexiglass): PMMA is a highly transparent amorphous thermoplastic material with a light transmittance of 90%~92%, excellent weather resistance and high surface hardness. It is mainly used for optically transparent products, such as light distribution mirrors for car lights.
