Products Description
A prototype is an early sample, model to check the structure or design of the parts, after confirmed design, normally we will build injection mould and start mass production; usually have 3 methods to make the prototype samples: Prototype by CNC machining, Prototype by 3D printing and Prototype by silicone mould.
Prototype CNC machining:The benefits of CNC parts include substantial flexibility in material choice, high accuracy and repeatability after confirm the design, but CNC Machining is frequently disregarded as it is considered 'old technology', but at Rootsino, we offers the greatest flexibility in terms of materials, no size restrictions and a quantifiable level of accuracy.
Plastic CNC Parts
CNC machining process may the best way to emulate an injection moulded part, it can be offered on a wide range of materials eg ABS, PC, POM, PP, PMMA, PBT, and so on.Most plastics can be bonded effectively (PP being an exception) and after dressing, the joint will not be noticeable. Also it can be dressed and painted to offer a high class finish for exhibition or demonstration models. Rootsino can do supply the CNC machining services at a competitive price point and in lead-times from around 5 days.

3D printing prototype samples:
The material normally ABS, but not so strong as CNC machine samples, advantage is easy to do, fast and no shrink on surface.
Prototype by silicone mould:
It's widely use on PP, Nylon and other material, if quality between 10-100, silicone mould sample is good choice on low unit cost, it also can be dressed and painted, mirror polish surface also ok.
