Injection molding is a method of producing modeling for industrial products. Products are usually molded using rubber and plastic. Injection molding can also be divided into injection molding molding method and die casting method.
(1) The ejection should be balanced, such as the number of ejector rods, cross-sectional area should be sufficient, the demolding slope should be sufficient, and the cavity surface should be smooth enough, so as to prevent cracking due to external force caused by the concentration of ejection residual stress.
(2) The structure of the parts should not be too thin, and the transition part should use arc transition as much as possible to avoid stress concentration caused by sharp corners and chamfers.
(3) Use as few metal inserts as possible to prevent the internal stress from increasing due to the difference in shrinkage rate between the insert and the part.
(4) Appropriate demolding inlet channels should be set for deep-bottom parts to prevent the formation of vacuum negative pressure.
(5) The main flow channel is enough to demold the gate material when it is cured in the future, so that it is easy to demold.
(6) The joint between the main channel bushing and the nozzle should prevent the drag of the cold hard material and make the parts stick to the fixed mold.
In terms of materials
(1) The content of recycled material is too high, resulting in too low strength.
(2) Excessive humidity, causing some plastics to react chemically with water vapor, reducing strength and ejection cracking.
(3) The material itself is not suitable for the environment being processed or the quality is not good, and it will cause cracking if it is polluted.
