1. Drawing inspection
Injection mold debugging according to the mold debugging notice issued by the external cooperation department or production department, start preparation. The review of drawings, here refers to two drawings, one is the product drawing of mold debugging, and the other is the mold drawing. According to the product drawings, understand the material, geometry, function and appearance requirements of the product, such as color, spots, impurities, joints, dents, etc. According to the mold drawings, you can understand the equipment selected for mold debugging, and whether the technical parameters are consistent with the mold requirements. The drawings are reviewed and passed on to the next process.
2. Equipment inspection
Check the oil, water, circuit, and mechanical movement parts of the equipment used, and maintain the equipment as required; Check the technical parameters of the equipment: the diameter of the positioning ring, the size of the nozzle sphere R, the nozzle aperture, the mold shift stroke, the tie rod spacing, the ejection method, etc. must meet the mold test requirements and make preparations before driving.
The tryout equipment should be consistent with the machine in future production. This is because the technical parameters of the equipment are related to the technical standards of the mold trial products, and the fluctuation of temperature, the amplitude of pressure change, the time of the empty cycle, and the stability of mechanical and hydraulic transmission will affect the quality of the product. The mold test of the equipment using large clamping force is switched to an injection machine with small clamping force, and the molding conditions may need to be changed.
3. Material preparation
Check whether the specifications, models, grades, additives, masterbatches, etc. of the processed plastic raw materials meet the requirements, and dry the raw materials with high humidity to determine the proportion.
In principle, the raw materials should be used as specified in the drawings, because the mold is designed according to the physical and mechanical properties of the raw materials. It can also use raw materials with good fluidity, easy and fast curing and good thermal stability. The structure of the test mold makes the distribution of various parts, fillets, wall thicknesses and stiffeners of the product truly reflected, and can be used as a reference for modifying the injection mold.
4. Mold inspection
Before the injection mold is installed on the injection machine, the mold should be checked according to the mold drawings in order to find the problem in time and repair the mold. According to the assembly drawing of the injection mold, the external dimensions of the mold, the size of the positioning ring, the size of the main channel inlet, the R size of the sphere matching the nozzle, the inlet and outlet of the cooling water, the height and width of the pressure plate pad, etc. can be checked. The pouring system, cavity, etc. of the mold need to open the mold for inspection, and when the mold moving mold and the fixed mold are separated, attention should be paid to the direction mark to avoid making mistakes when closing.
5. Cooling water pipe or heating line
Turn on the mold cooling water pipe or heating line inspection, if the parting surface is hydraulic or motor, it should also be turned on for inspection separately.
6. Tools and accessories
The mold trial tool is a special tool for mold trial personnel, which is contained in a portable toolbox and is easy to carry. Each commissioning person should be equipped with one set. The tools related to mold trial are mechanical movers, pads, temperature thermometers for checking molds, measuring tools for checking mold sizes, tools for checking products, etc., as well as copper rods, copper sheets and sandpaper commonly used in operation.
